At Dakotaline Furs, our hides are professionally cleaned and tanned preserving them for many years and with proper care, a lifetime.These tanned skunk pelts are prime and have an excellent leather, fur and coloration. Tanning was done by a company around for over 50 years. The tan is clean, soft and pliable making them very easy to work with. The fur is thick, long and soft. These pelts have NO ODOR to them.-Included: 1 skunk pelt-Excellent fur and color-The average length of the pelt is 26" from nose to tail-tip, but some sizes may vary.-NO skunk odor!-Skunks do have thinner fur on the underbelly and throat area.-Pelts do not have full legs and feet and are not processed for mount or taxidermy use.Premium Grade:Has no noticeable defects. Good face and tail. The fur is at peak winter condition.Medium grade:May have flaws in the face such as larger eye holes or smaller holes, may have rubs or bare areas in the fur, may have small hole(s) in the pelt. These are still very useful for sewing projects and crafts.Note: Real fur and skin pelts may have some smells or shedding...this is normal. The pelt can be gently shaken or brushed and hung up for a few days to remedy these issues.
